We are living in extraordinary times: there are more people in need of protection globally than ever before. The COVID-19 pandemic has closed borders, removing two of the three options for refugees – resettlement and repatriation. Join us as we explore what this means for refugees and asylum seekers both in asylum countries and here in Australia. As we gaze into the future, what will be the implications on refugee health and the organisations providing care? How do you prioritise, plan and provide health service delivery during this pandemic for refugees in protracted situations of displacement?

This webinar celebrates Refugee Week 2020 – ironically, themed as “The Year of Welcome” - and will discuss these phenomena from both a national and international perspective with a focus on health and health services.
