Refugee Action Collective Illawarra is hosting this screening of the powerful documentary 'No Other Land', that follows the attempted destruction of a Palestinian community in the West Bank. After winning an Academy Award this year, co-director Hamdan Ballal was attacked by Israeli settlers in his home in the West Bank and then arrested by the Israeli Defence Forces. We want to screen this film to share both a story of resistance against occupation, and to show what the Israeli state wants to hide.
