Please join us to explore and “Unity the way forward “in this collaborative Art exhibition with artworks by Leila Ashtiani and Karen Hopkins -Part of Space2b’s Face2 Face program and coinciding with Refugee week 2021.
Space2b is an art and design social enterprise supporting newly arrived migrants and refugees and people seeking asylum to become financially independent and included in the community.
We support our participants to thrive by connecting people, facilitating creative enterprise, workplace training, and business mentoring. Our creative community workspace includes a retail outlet, art gallery, design studio, workshop space, small business hub, and laneway café in the City of Port Phillip.
We provide a safe space, a sense of community, and social inclusion for newly arrived migrants and create numerous opportunities for participants to connect, practice English, work, train, and engage.
Face 2 face is a series of 5 collaborative exhibitions between March and July 2021 with works painted by five pairs of artists from different cultural backgrounds who explore co-create and collaborate through a chosen theme it is an opportunity to exchange ideas knowledge and connections
