Register your interest in our A Million Steps challenge during Refugee Week (14–20 June 2026).
Inspired by the 2026 Refugee Week theme, A Million Stories, Amigos for Settlement is inviting people across Australia and around the world to help us reach a collective goal of one million steps during Refugee Week.
Walk as much as you can throughout the week, gather sponsorship from friends or family, and help raise funds to support a refugee family settling into a new life in Sydney through community sponsorship.
The challenge will culminate on World Refugee Day, 20 June 2026, with a special 28km finale walk along Sydney’s iconic Seven Bridges Walk route.
Can’t join us in Sydney? You can still take part wherever you are by doing your own walks outdoors or even on the treadmill or gathering friends to create a local event, with all steps contributing to our shared total 🌏
