INTRODUCING AMSA Crossing Borders' special event for Refugee Week 2020!

We are very excited to run a panel discussion on 20th June via Zoom at 7pm AEST/5pm AWST! This will be a highly informative and interactive night with a Q&A session as we chat about this year's Refugee Week theme - The Year of Welcome. The panelists will range from past refugees who are making significant contributions to refugee health, policy and the wider community, to some of Australia's most renowned physicians and legal advocates. This includes the likes of Professor David Isaacs and Dr Kerryn Phelps. 

Through discussions and stories of their past experience and current work, we hope to showcase the amazing resilience, creativity and ingeniousness of people of refugee background, as well as our role as medical students and members of the public amongst the crisis.

Come along to hear these diverse and fresh perspectives and learn about how you can contribute to refugee health and welcome people of all backgrounds!
