Blak and Palestinian poets, artists and activists come together for the first time for a special evening of poetry, performances, and discussion. Join us as we honour and affirm Black-Palestinian solidarity, and nurture and build on our connections and shared struggles (in the question for liberation).

  • Date: Saturday, June 26
  • Time: From 4:00PM AEST
  • Location: Drill Hall, 26 Therry St, Melbourne VIC 3000

This event will be recorded / streamed on Facebook. Drill Hall is accessible and this event is AUSLAN interpreted.

To seek refuge in Australia is to settle on stolen land. Road to Refuge would like to acknowledge the traditional owners of the land upon which this event is taking place Wurundjeri people of the Kulin Nation. As a storytelling event, we would like to acknowledge that First Nations people were the original storytellers on this land.

Will you come?
