ADSI would like to extend a warm invitation to you to join us at Borders, Bonds and Belonging -  our Refugee Week 2025 Art Exhibition and Community Awards presentation. Refugee Week is celebrated globally every year mid - late June. As a respected leader and ADSI’s long-time supporter, your presence would greatly enhance the event and demonstrate your support for our local CALD community.

When: 11-2pm, Thu 26 June 2025

11am registration for 11:30 start

               11:30-1pm: formal proceedings

               1-2pm: Artwork viewing, performances and lunch

Where: The Great Hall – Parramatta Town Hall, Parramatta Square

Our theme Borders, Bonds, and Belonging reflects and celebrates a refugee’s journey - crossing borders, building bonds with their new communities and finding belongings in their new homes.  The event will feature an art exhibition of paintings, textile and photography from refugees reflecting their Border, Bonds and Belonging journey. We will also be announcing the winners of our Youth Awards and Community Awards recognising and celebrating the achievements of refugees of all ages and backgrounds.

As our strong leader and advocate for the refugee community, we would be honoured to have you join us in the event, celebrating refugees’ profound journey of resilience, strength, and unity that defines their experience in our community. Your presence would be much appreciated by those attending - the individuals and families who have found refuge in our community.
