Gather your friends for an immersive evening of stories, musical performance and personal reflections on Marc Chagall’s life and legacy at the Jewish Museum's exhibition CHAGALL.
To mark both Refugee Week and World Music Day, CHAGALL Curator and art historian Jade Niklai explores Chagall’s life and movements as a refugee and how these experiences informed his painting, printmaking, and his famous public art installations in performance spaces across the world.
Hear from acclaimed playwright and actor Vivian Nguyen – whose parents arrived in Australia as refugees – as she reflects on the intimate storytelling found in Chagall’s paintings.
You can then continue to experience CHAGALL accompanied by the musical stylings of Adam Starr and Alex Burkoy playing guitar and violin.
