This year, Refugee Week explores the expansive notion of family, extending from beyond our traditional homes to embrace the connections we forge within our communities, both large and small.

Experience the warmth of community as House of Welcome facilitates connections, celebrates belonging and diversity. Delight in cultural workshops and cultural artists. Children can engage in a variety of activities at our dedicated crafts table, while everyone can indulge in complimentary food and participate in exciting games and raffle draws.

All are welcome to join us for this inclusive event. House of Welcome, proudly serving within the Cumberland City Council, is dedicated to empowering refugees and people seeking asylum by providing them with the resources, opportunities, and support needed for a hopeful and secure future.
