The 2023 BR4R Seeking Asylum Poetry Prize will be launched during a Ballina Region for Refugees event celebrating Refugee Week. This is the fifth year the Poetry Prize has run.
The Prize seeks entries -- at no entry fee -- from anyone living in Australia, celebrating this year's Refugee Week theme -- Finding Freedom. People identifying as refugees or asylum seekers are encouraged to enter. There is also an under-18
category.
There are cash prizes, and winners will be published by BR4R's partner, The Journal Social Alternatives.
