This roundtable will provide nurses with the opportunity to provide feedback to the roundtable recommendations report released, including interactive sessions which focus on attendees sharing their experiences and perceived challenges. Attendees will contribute to the next steps in the policy and advocacy response.​

Target audience:​

Nurses and nurse practitioners from all states across all settings who provide hepatitis C care to people living in Australia who are Medicare-ineligible.​

Learning outcomes:​

At the end of this roundtable, participants will be able to:​

• Demonstrate the ability to analyse the current Australian policy landscape​
• Describe the challenges patients who are Medicare-ineligible face when accessing DAA therapy​
• Outline strategies for supporting patients who are Medicare-ineligible in accessing DAA therapy​
• Contribute to policy and advocacy development
