Quakers have a long history of supporting refugees.  In 2026 Quaker Service Australia, through the Aubrey bequest, has funded 5 projects.

Wattle Pathways is a tutoring and civics education program for high school students, established by a former refugee, who is now living in Melbourne. Permaculture for Refugees is an international organisation with Australians who run training in refugee camps. World Beyond War supports refugees from conflict.

As part of Refugee Week (14–20 June 2026), Cressida Hall, QSA Executive Manager, will share the stories of these inspirational projects.
