Communicare, through the Bridge to Belonging Program, in partnership with various organisations, will be celebrating Refugee Week 2026 in the Southeast of Perth.
To mark this important week, we are hosting a community event on Sunday, 21 June 2026. This community gathering will bring together individuals and families from refugee and migrant backgrounds, along with local organisations, to honour the resilience, strength, and contributions of those who have sought safety and freedom in Australia.
The theme for this year is “A Million Stories”, every story is different, every story holds strength, and together these stories help shape the Australia we proudly call home today.
The event provides a meaningful opportunity to connect, collaborate, celebrate diversity, and foster a greater sense of belonging for people who have made Australia their home.
