On behalf of the Fairfield Emerging Communities Action Partnership (FECAP), CORE Community Services is proud to host the Refugee Week Festival on 16 June 2025. Fairfield is one of Australia’s largest settlement cities, with over 56% of residents born overseas. As one of the most culturally diverse communities in the country, Refugee Week is an opportunity to celebrate the strength, resilience, and rich contributions of refugees and newly arrived communities who call Fairfield home. This year’s festival will honour the theme "Finding Freedom: Diversity in Community", and invite us all to reflect on the journeys, stories, and shared futures that shape our vibrant multicultural society.
