Come along to the Reginald Murphy Community Centre to celebrate Refugee Week!

Join us for a delicious afternoon tea and hear from guest speaker Samah, a Refugee Ambassador with the Refugee Council of Australia.

Samah was born to an Assyrian family and grew up in Baghdad, Iraq. The 2003 war, subsequent sectarian violence, and rise of extremist groups, drastically altered her life. After seeking asylum for three years in Turkey, Samah and her family were finally granted humanitarian visas to Australia.

This is a wonderful opportunity to hear Samah's story and connect with one another over a lovely afternoon tea.

We aim to deliver inclusive and accessible events. If you have any particular access or communication needs, please contact Reginald Murphy Community Centre on 02 9265 9133 or email Bishop on [email protected].

Will you come?
