We are delighted to invite you to mark 2025 World Refugee Day on Friday 20 June,  with the theme, ’Finding Freedom: Diversity in Community.’

World Refugee Day this year will focus on solidarity with the people in Sudan to support peace and humanitarian aid in Sudan The disastrous conflict in Sudan, now the world’s biggest humanitarian and displacement crisis has been forgotten and ignored by the international community.

Solidarity means not just honouring the people in Sudan with words but with actions. It means listening to them and making space for their stories. It means defending their right to seek safety and finding solutions to their plight, ending conflicts so they can return home in safety.
