Join us for a special Refugee Week screening of Tự Do: Boats of Hope in Richmond, Melbourne on Saturday, 13 June 2026.
Marking 50 years of Vietnamese settlement in Australia, this powerful documentary tells the story of Vietnamese refugees who fled war and persecution to find safety on Australian shores.
Through the voices of three generations, it is a moving tribute to resilience, survival and the strength of community.
Presented by the Vietnamese Museum Australia, this special event invites you to reflect on our shared histories and the importance of multiculturalism, inclusion and belonging in Australia.
Refreshments will be served on arrival, followed by the screening and a panel discussion.
