Author of The Kabul Peace House, Mark Isaacs will do a presentation on Afghanistan by zoom Sat 25 Jun @ 2-3pm for Refugee week at Casuarina Library Meeting Room, Darwin
The event will go from 1.30-3.30pm, for people to gather and sign the Amnesty Raise the Refugee and Humanitarian Intake petition
Raise the refugee and humanitarian intake - Amnesty International Australia and to buy a raffle ticket $5 to win a signed copy of 'The Kabul Peace House' if attendees so wish.
Mark is an activist and is doing a PhD in people smuggling and his previous books were 'Nauru Burning' and the 'Undesirables: Inside Nauru'.
Mark has experience on Naura, with the Rohingya in Myanmar and on the Central American migrant caravan.
