Come hear from our Migrants and Refugees who have been powerful Community-builders, Economy-strengtheners, Society-shapers, Culture-sharers and more!

Join Cornerstone Alliance for an afternoon of stories, connection, and community as we celebrate Refugee Week through personal journeys and the shared experiences that unite us as migrants.

This event will bring together members of our migrant and refugee communities to share their stories of migration, identity, hope, tenacity, challenge, and finding home. In a relaxed and conversational setting, speakers will reflect on their journeys as migrants and the experiences that have shaped their lives.

In the spirit of this year’s theme A Million Stories, ‘We are one, but we are many’ is an opportunity to learn from one another, foster meaningful connection, and celebrate the richness of our diverse community.

Behind every person is a unique journey, and within every journey is a story of courage, resilience, and belonging. Together, a million stories form one community.

Event Highlights:

  • Hear lived experiences from members of the migrant and refugee community
  • Community-led sharing in a relaxed setting designed for open conversation and connection
  • Explore what belonging, home, and identity mean across different journeys
  • Build understanding and empathy through shared stories and experiences
  • Participate in an insightful Q&A for reflection and connection

Everyone is welcome. Network with individuals from diverse backgrounds, while enjoying light refreshments.

Will you come?
