The Welcome Walk is the Romero Centre's major annual fundraising appeal and a fantastic opportunity to welcome people seeking asylum in Brisbane.
This year's event will take place on Sunday the 14th of June at 1pm at Orleigh Park at West End.
Join us for a 5km return walk along the Brisbane River, followed by an afternoon of cultural performances, storytelling, delicious Ethiopian coffee, BBQ including vibrant market stalls, family-friendly activities — and a lucky draw!
All funds raised go towards the Romero Centre's vital work supporting people seeking asylum with case coordination, food and emergency relief, housing support, employment support, English classes and social engagement
