Our vision focuses on:
- Building on what Australia has been doing well in refugee resettlement and further developing complementary migration pathways for refugees
- Practically and justly resolving the most protracted cases of people who have sought protection in Australia and repairing the overall asylum system
- Encouraging progress in the Asia-Pacific region towards increasing refugees’ access to longer term protection and durable solutions
